Hi all I wanted to inform my fellow BYD enthousiasts. I've just ordered a Sealion 7 design Atlantic gray with trailer hitch through leasing and it will be delivered 18 march 2026. As I was always looking for information about delivery times I thought I might share.

Hi, I’ve ordered mine on 18 of July and I’ll be picking it up next Friday. Same color but the comfort version. Belgium

Finally some more of my fellow Sealion 7's on the Belgian road! Nice car to drive! Sure some overactive warning beeps & peeps but in general ok. Security systems are sometimes a bit too fast to react etc. given me a slight scare ;-) Hopefully with some future software updates...

There are not a lot of them in Belgium, only saw 2 since I'm looking for them since August. Happy to be joining the family. Am indeed a bit worried for the security systems, but hope it will be Ok.

Interior is very nice (I have the tahiti blue one) . Solid build and very good quality. I like the sunroof and enjoyed the ventilated seats often already. In winter time autonomy is quite a bit lower than you would expect, but that is not BYD specific. And anything above 105-110km/u start eating batteries fast ;-) My daily routing starts with de-activating things like lane-assist, the camera that is looking at your face to make sure you keep looking at the road, traffic-sign recognition so it would not beep each time you drive 53 where 50 is allowed etc.
