Towing with the BYD Seal. What are your experiences?

I'm booking my Seal in to have an EV Stealth tow-hitch installed - primarily to be able to put a rack for our e-bikes on the back. I then had the hare-brained idea that I might want to buy a compact camper-trailer or teardrop trailer for weekends away. Has anyone in this lovely community had success in finding a nice little camper-trailer for their Seal? What's the experience? Regrets? What would you do differently?

Don't have a camper but I tow a box trailer with it for work and it handles it just fine. Doesn't affect the range much with suburban driving but might be worse on highways. V2L is super handy for camping.

I have a towbar. Car has 750km tow rating. Towed with it up and down the Toowoomba Range with camp gear. Economy easily cut in half.

>V2L is super handy for camping. I was wondering what you might plug in - aside from a fridge. A small heater in the cold weather? Electric cooking?

Nice to know, thanks! :) I've read that running it on economy is the way, and reducing the regen braking as well is very helpful.

When you’ve got cruise control on, the mode doesn’t make a difference, nor regen; it takes care of that as normal rather than high when in CC.
