I'm looking to de-badge my 2025 Seal Performance and change the front and rear 'BYD' to black. Anyone have any recommendations as to where to source these from?
I put black covers over the top on the front, bought off aliexpress. If you don't like the slightly chunkier look this gives, you could always spray paint the original badges and put them back on. I tried the same on the back, but the covers didn't quote fit properly, and I didn't like the look of the large BYD badge on the back anyway. So I completely removed it and put a cartoon seal sticker in its place.
Its a black seal, so I dont think an overlay over the front badge would matter too much. As for the rear, since the detailer will de-badge AWD, BYD SEAL and 3.8S, I might as well get them to de-badge 'BYD' on the boot and stick on replacement badge. Do you mind sharing the link to the AliExpress product?
A quick option which is temporary (so you treat your vision before making it permanent) is PPF. Gloss or Matt black. Stick on top and carefully cut around it. Easier than it may seem. Another option is plastic dip which is much easier than spray paint, can peel off easily. If you know you really like it then you can spray paint or replace
