Strange high-pitched noise in my BYD Seal Premium 2024 — even when parked or powered off

Hi everyone, I just took delivery of my BYD Seal Premium 2024 on May 22, 2025, and I’ve been noticing a strange high-pitched whining sound. Here’s what happens: • The sound occurs when I press the accelerator • It stops immediately when I press the brake • It also happens while parked and even after powering off the car • The noise seems to come from the driver side area inside the cabin I already visited the BYD service center — the technician heard the sound too but couldn’t locate the source. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Thanks in advance for any help!

I picked up a 2025 Seal Premium about 3 weeks ago. I noticed this as well, i just thought it was part of the drivetrain to the battery. Interesting another owner has the same noise

I have a MY24 Seal Premium, and a close family member also has a MY24 Seal premium, and neither of those two cars make this horrific noise. The only time I get anything resembling this is inverter whine under heavy acceleration. No such thing when parked or powered off. The response you got from the dealership is fucking ridiculous, especially for a new car that’s still in warranty. Either try a different service centre in the hopes of finding a tech who knows what they’re doing, or go back to the same place and get them to fix the problem or give you a replacement vehicle.

I haven't heard that noise in mine. Definitely something I'd raise with the service centre too. Was it bought from the dealer or privately?
