Anyone else here prefer the look of the current gen interior (with vents) over the new one (with black ambient lighting panel)? Let me know what you think!

Yes. I do. I was going to hold off until I saw the photos and it was also confirmed God's Eye C was not bound for Aus....

A few months after buying mine I had FOMO, then I saw the new one. I no longer have FOMO.

I don’t like instrument cluster being built into that single black panel It does not look premium at all

Oh it's not? I suppose it makes sense it's taken Tesla this long and still don't have FSD open to the public here!

My thoughts too. Old one has character and should be less prone to scratches. Looks like a halfway-there Denza but that's actually got a passenger screen integrated. Does it do anything in the Seal apart from ambient lighting like in the Sealion 7?

Agreed :)

I think Australian regulations need to catch up to Chinese ones before it can be run here. The hardware is fine and so are the roads.

I also like the current interior more, however I do wish they changed the steering wheel to the newer one. The rectangular dash in the current styling is also somewhat awkward. Would have been nice if it's in a more curved shape to blend in with the rest of the dash panelling.

I quite like the chunkiness of the current steering wheel (not sure if they're keeping it for the next one). And yeah the instrument cluster does have the floating screen aesthetic. I'm obviously biased here but I don't mind it too much!

I love how chunky it is too ..
