Waiting on 2025 Seal..

I ordered on Jan 30 last year, picked up Apr24

Ordered mine Late January this year got it on the 30th of March

I ordered at the start of March and was quoted 4 to 6 weeks. Chased them for an update at the start of April and now I've been told delivery at the end of May. I'm now playing the guessing game of which Armacup ship its going to be on.

Same here. January order and delivered end of March. Melbourne. They just can’t build the 2025 versions of Seal quick enough. Also I just heard from the services team here in Melbourne that any parts on back order has a 3 month wait. Unless warranty which will be transported via air. All others by boat.

Same for me except I believe the dealer as he has shown me his screen indicating its held at the port. From what I know, there have been strikes and then a biohazard at the port which has delayed everything

What is the interior upgrade like? Could you share a photo?

I don't think it's different from the previous versions. I'm not aware what upgrades would even be there. If you want a specific picture of something in the interior, i'll get that to you.

True. Even the EV Finance team has terrible customer service.

Maybe just a wide of the entire dash. Apparently it got upgraded to the dash of the Sealion 7 (one large screen the whole way across and a few other cosmetic changes)

I’ve been advised today that my Shark Grey Seal Premium (ordered mid Feb) will arrive at the Port of Sydney tomorrow. I’ve been told to expect another few weeks post that for delivery.

I checked the link with the VIN # and it said the ship the car was on arrived in Port Kembla on "Divine Ace" on the 16th April...guess we just gotta wait.

How do you do that? Usually its a week from Port Kembla

Thanks it says POD port Kembla with a time stamp of the 16th of April but the dealer says he still sees it at the Port of Sydney, hmmmm sounds like yours is on the same shipment as mine. What dealer did you buy from? Edit: just read the post, Liverpool, mines a different one

My 2025 Premium arrived at Port Kembla today on the ‘Glovis Condor’ so will see how long it takes to filter out. They all go to Liverpool BYD for processing first.

Ah, thanks for confirming. I actually like the old interior aesthetics better, just not a fan of that NFC print on the arm rest. New features woulda been cool though.

Did you go with the dealership finance (EV direct)? Did you get good interest rate and did they provide you the T&C's?

Aliexpress has a 'leather' BYD arm rest cover that can cover that up :)

For ours (in Brisbane), ordered Feb 21st, arrived April 22nd. We're picking it up on Saturday. We wanted the Shark Grey, so we had to wait.

It appears that it’s very dependent on colour. The Blue seals are taking a lot longer. I ordered my Seal Performace in white on Jan 10 and I’m hopefully picking it up early next week.

Fortitude Valley. They did have a Yangwang U8 on display there at the time. Apparently it has gone to the Aspley store now. We worked with James - he was good to real with. Had some bad news though - apparently their delivery team had too much on, and didn't get to our car, so we didn't take delivery on Saturday. Will be ready the coming Tuesday (29th), so we'll be picking up the car on Saturday May 3.

So its the 7th of May and still waiting...thats about 14 weeks now.

I don’t suppose you got a call today letting you know when you can pick it up? Mine was also on the Devine Ace and arrived on the 16th of April. I got a call today letting me know I can pick it up on Monday/Tuesday next week.
