Seal rear air vent performance.

shadjor | 2024-10-16 15:39 | 20 views

I only just got my car a couple days ago. Kids were griping about the rear airflow. How are people finding the rear air vents? Is the only option just to crank up the fan speed and point some front cabin fans directly through to the back? Kids might just need to suck it up because the Seal doesn’t have a separate rear A/C compressor like our other car where they can set speed.

I find the AC performance to be underwhelming in the front, so I can only assume it's a lot worse in the back.

I love my seal performance but fuck me dead if the air conditioning doesn't leave a lot to be desired.

Damn, I live in Brisbane so this does not fill me with joy.

I'd still do it again, I just maybe wouldn't get a black one. For context, I live in Rockhampton. I can mitigate this most of the time by switching the aircon on full blast 10 minutes before I get in the car so it's already cool. - I don't always remember, though. I just found that I'm playing with the settings a lot, and it may have just been better to have typical vents and dials rather than through the screen.

Could be because some cars that have eco mode for driving seem to auto set the AC to eco as well.

If you haven't already, check in the settings it's not on Economical mode, this was the default setting for the cars when built Tap on the car symbol -> Vehicle Settings -> A/C -> Auto A/C mode. Otherwise, have the gas levels checked. Some have reported not enough refrigerant. Mine is nearly too cold set at 24c

I'll take a look at that, thank you.

Thanks. We’ll have a hot day this weekend so will be able to test it out.

I made the mistake of a black car when I was younger so I got that out of my system early.

Only got mine a couple of days ago as well. I don't seem to have any problem with the air-con even on eco. In Brisbane and it is about 27 today, car was in sun and still cooled down very quickly when went out for lunch. Suggest having the aircon checked, and as others have suggested look at the eco mode setting.

What day did you pick it up? I got mine on Wednesday from the delivery center near the airport. I saw some dude pulling away in an arctic blue and was thinking they better not have given away my car. We have a 32 degree day on Saturday so that should be a good test. I’ve been loving the AC so far and was a pleasant drive home after I picked it up.

Picked mine up on Tuesday. Atlantis Grey Performance. Has been fine through the week, parked in sun and cooled down pretty quickly when dicking out for lunch (showing off the car to coworkers).

I have a seal performance. The kids are saying how cold it is on 23 degrees. Confirm I turned off air con eco mode day I got the car. Don't think you can close the vents.

You can move the vent direction all the way to the left to close the rear vents.
