I haven’t had mine through summer yet but we had a 36C winter day here a few weeks back and my Seal dealt with it fine.

You have to knock the temp down to Lo for the air con to work well. The Temp settings are more a 'cold to hot' gauge more so than setting the interior of the car to that temperature.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had it as low as it would go and in comfort mode not eco. Still no cold air though.

Could be some sort of fault with heat pump. As everyone else has mentioned no issue for me in Sydney, and had the car at end of humid summer I think the coldest winter Sydney day would be like the middle of your summer? Even on 21 I start getting cold. Check the aircon setups and mode you have that on too?

I had it on full air con in comfort mode. Sounds like it’s just my car - glad to hear you Aussies aren’t having the same issue. Scotland only has about a dozen days a year when you really need air con.

I get the feeling that some of them aren’t great and you need to take it up with the dealer if it’s not cooling properly. Hoping mine is good cause I’m getting mine soon and it’s got to be able to cool in Brisbane summer. .

I have driven the seal for a test drive 2 times now with 2 different seals. I did not experience the weak air con, bad soundsystem or bad lane keeping. Both times the ride was overall calm and nice. For me all those things felt fairly good. Was I just lucky? I really like the car, but hesitate to buy it because of the often mentioned problems.

Mine was a very early production can - BYD wanted to get journalists in the Seal as quickly as possible. Hopefully they’ve sorted those issues out now.
