Seal opened its own windows?

SexyDraenei | 2024-05-03 10:11 | 13 views

So I left my car unlocked in the work car park today. When I went to go home, all the windows were open about 5cm. There was a message on the screen about windows but I didn't notice it until I had opened the door and the door open indication removed it before I could read it. Has anyone else experienced this? is it some kind of overheat protection? It was quite sunny today. I'd hate for it to happen somewhere insecure when the car is locked.

I hope it's not something that automatically happens. I live in the Tropics, it gets really hot, and then the monsoonal thunder storms roll in, and it's not time to have the windows open.

There's a setting to auto-close the windows if it detects rain.

Sweet, but I'd like to know if there is a setting that rolls the windows down automatically.

The only one I know of is the remote hold-unlock-to-open with the remote, nothing that the car does on its own.

yeah id like to think that it wont do it if its locked.

You sure you didn't hold the unlock button for few seconds as it does that.?

I am not sure of that, it was in my pocket so its certainly possible.

Didn't have anything on the seats and maybe the child system does that if alarm is not acknowledged? Can't say I have had it happen so far though.
