Seal Performance: Dive in or wait for MY26 update?

Hi All, Looking to novated our first EV in the new year coming from a background of performance AWD ICE vehicles. Originally thought we might go used, however these cars seem to be holding their value pretty well. For the benefit of the additions of the MY25 model plus being able to pick our preferred colour and options we are now favouring new. Question I have now, should we dive in now or wait to see what updates the MY26 model brings? Even if it is just discounts on the outgoing MY25 model, or do BYD not do that?

I want the Seal Wagon so bad!

Yeah, l'm a big wagon person too. I was basically sold on the Seal wagon until I saw it was coming in PHEV only. We export most of our solar, so the big win for us going EV will be ridding ourselves of the running costs of ICE vehicles.

not sure there is even going to be a 26 version - there was no 24 version only 23 and 25. I have seen something in leaks from chinese shows that might be a 26 version of the seal and it looked pretty generic design wise if it turns out to be the correct model.
