I'm awaiting my Seal 06 to be delivered, its coming in a few weeks. This announcement makes me feel like it's out of date before I've even received it

nah you'll enjoy it, plus it's a PHEV you can charge it at home with the small (relatively speaking) battery so flash charge or not don't really matter. I drool at the beauty of the front and the rear of SL6 :D

1500kw charging is insane. I think the whole city would flicker when plugging it in. That's like the draw of 1000 households.

My friend has the seal 6 and I've been seeing them all over BK. It's a cool fcking car. I've got the sealion 6 and it now feels dated.
What a stupid article. So far BYD haven't released a car as good as what Tesla released 8 years ago, despite stupid amounts of government subsidy, the world's biggest market on their doorstep, tiny profit margins, and the opportunity to actually improve on the competition as its already out there. If you own your car, you do not want it supercharging in 20 minutes, let alone 5. Battery longevity matters. The way a car drives is much more relevant than voltage architecture. The seal 6 is a good looking car yet it couldn't get close to a medal 3 performance wbmeven with more horsepower. This 'upgrade' is butt ugly
Byd may survive bankruptcy. We shall see.
