Hello. Any German owners here? BYD is having a huge sale right now and im considering to get a BYD Seal 6 DMi Touring. I could get it under 30k€ and im wondering how are the experience for people who already own them. How much and which insurance you would recommend taking. I estimate a total of 20000km driving per year. I will also use the car daily to go to work with total of 50km go and back. How much you spent on monthly charging and fueling? My concern is I dont have solar panels, but will install a wallbox when i buy the car. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you

Do use the autobahn and drive fast? If not shouldne fine, fuel consumption must be similar to Hyundai alternatives maybe a bit worse than VW or Benz. Car should be good for most driver but not that proven for 200-250+ autobahn sessions

I often use autobahn rarely drive fast. I drive often on A5/A6 and its always 120 max also with stau.

It sounds like an ok car for your driving style then. Not sure how it is servicing those in Germany atm, however BYD seems to have quite a momentum

After 10.000 km in Austrian winter from October till March: AEC 4,6 kW/h+5,4L / 100 km 80% of kilometers on highway/freeway in hybrid mode, 20% of kilometers (but most of the time) in the city/urban region always EV mode. It consumes I would say ~20kW/h in the city in Sport Mode, 3,8L with ~80 km/h, 6L @Austrian highway 130 km/h, up to 10L on German highway with 185 km/h

That is quite good. How much would you say average you spend on fuel monthly? I got people telling me that hybrid uses more fuel because of the heavy weight from the battery. But I dont really think thats the case. Your consumption seems quite reasonable and quite the same with my current car.
