Wireless Android Auto issues with Redmi C15 5G on BYD Seal AWD (Italy)

Hello everyone, I am writing to understand whether anyone else is experiencing similar issues with wireless Android Auto on a BYD Seal AWD (Italian version). I use a Xiaomi Redmi C15 5G and connect exclusively via wireless Android Auto. When it connects, the infotainment system becomes very slow and not smooth. The screen noticeably lags and sometimes almost freezes. In addition, I often receive a message saying that certain apps, such as Waze or Spotify, are “not available,” even though they are working properly on the phone. After a few minutes, they sometimes start working again on their own. I am also experiencing issues with WhatsApp voice commands. I frequently get the message “voice commands are temporarily unavailable.” Another issue I noticed is that after the latest vehicle software update, I can no longer display Spotify in full screen. It was possible before, but now it is not. Is this a change introduced with the update, or could it be a malfunction? The car is a BYD Seal AWD registered in Italy and updated to the latest available software version. Has anyone experienced similar issues with wireless Android Auto on this model? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Seal U DMI Driver here, but would recommend a media reset (10 sec volume button) and see what it does in terms of stability etc. Full screen Spotify need to double check. Ciao

Android Auto simply mirrors your phone screen. I would try to disable the wireless charging feature, that almost always causes the phone to heat up and start throttling performance (this is especially noticeable in midrange/budget phones like the Redmi C15). AA is pretty responsive for me (I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra). Not sure about WhatsApp voice commands, but recently I've seen that people have been reporting issues on r/AndroidAuto regarding the latest AA version with voice commands, so there might be something Google can fix soon with an update. As for the Spotify full screen "issue", with their software updates BYD started forcing both the top and bottom bars to be fixed on the screen so you always have access to the quick controls like climate and such. You can't disable or hide them on Android Auto or CarPlay.
