Hey guys, Just picked up new car, was wondering if anyone has used or put roof boxes on their seal u dm-I? Any idea which brand fits in terms of the rail/bars? And also, which roof box did you guys use (if any of you have)
Myself waiting for Atera releasing one, dir that I have some equipment from my former car. But otherwise I would always recommend Thule WingBar EVO BYD Seal
Why Atera specifically? I'm new to roof boxes, does the car only fit their own brand roof box? So you can't mix and match when it comes to rail bars and boxes?
By side box I have some extra equipment like the ski& snowboard holder, which is meant to slip in the rail of the roof bars. The measurements are Atera specific in this case. My box is an old Thule and the mounting system is more or less universal, means fits on most roof bars. But yes there are roof boxes which sometimes need specific diameters if the bars, which might forces you to buy both from the same manufacturer. My ski&snowboard holder are over 10 ears old, passed Audi Q5, Mercedes Viano and are know waiting for Seal U DMI use.
