BYD Seal phone NFC unlocking issue

Hey, I have been using my phone as a key for my BYD Seal for over a year now but I am consistently getting the same issue with it. More often than not. The first time I try to unlock the car by placing the phone on the wing mirror, I get an error and have to move the phone away for a few seconds and try again. This is something that has been going on for some time now and it got me wondering if it is just me that experiences this or if it is a wider issue for others?
