BYD Seal bonnet difficult to close

Sorry don't have an answer for you, but just curious if you could please share roughly where you are, what colour you got, and how long it took from order to delivery?

Thank you so much, I just tried it and it’s now much easier to close, but resistance is still there.

Maybe you’re doing this but you have to effectively close it down very firmly from its open position using two hands. If you try to close it slowly like you would a standard bonnet then it doesn’t click shut easily. Picked that tip up from a YouTube video as initially I was trying to close lightly.

Just keep twisting it until you can just push it down to close, but not staying loose after closed.
