I would agree with this. Service/parts in Australia similarly is improving but not as great as established brands. Otherwise they're a great car.

Sorry, but it looks like you're describing the wrong car. Sealion 6 AWD won't do more than 35 to 40 miles and only 20ish in cold weather. What has unpleasantly surprised me is the price of year 2 and year 4 of servicing. These are very expensive on British market compared to standard service. Overall the car is absolutely amazing and packed with great technology that other manufacturers charge much more for. I'm very happy that I bought it

The AWD has about 100~200m less autonomy than the fwd version, due to the additional performance & weight, even though it has a larger battery, i wouldn't get it unless i drove it off-road, and byd states that taking the vehicle off road can void your warranty.  Everything else on the car is just like the FWD version, suspension bounces a bit, and the car feels disconnected from the ground, but that's a thumb rule for byd cars, and from what i hear it makes passengers at the back seat uncomfortable if it's a bumpy road. The rear AC vent for the passengers is a bit weak as well, and when going at 80+ there's quite some wind noise coming from the doors (this can be fixed by improving the sound insulation on the top of the doors), if it's raining the car roof also make quite some noise.  Most spare parts have to be imported from China, can take 7, 15 days, or even more. After sales is usually pretty bad here in Brazil, i'm speaking this while my car is at the dealership for the 3rd time to redo some stuff they were meant to do when i first bought the car, and fix the damage they did to the car. My car only has about 6300km. The durability and reliability of the car seems to be pretty good, except for the suspension, and that's a common issue with BYD cars, even my rear left already broke once, and if your car has the GitiComfort tyres be aware that the grip isn't the best and you'll get loads of wheelspins, these tyres also seems to collect a lot of rocks on the road. All that said, i still would buy it, there's no matching out there for the amount of stuff you're getting on this car.

There's actually some detailed vids on car handling being more solid/grounded on the AWD vs FWD. Besides the extra range on the FWD, coming from a tuned and efficient BMW, the AWD definitely packs more punch, still with great total range and comfort. So personally found it a more satisfying option.
