BYD sucks with updates, each country has it's own schedule, some don't send updates at all

Fortunately, I don't get the QR code screen on my side. You can search around to find how to bypass it. Or you can DM me and I'll send you what I found

No clue about Thailand, but in Europe the v2 update is out for a while. When I bought my Seal 2 weeks ago (brand new) it still had v1.3.1 installed. I waited 2 weeks for an OTA but got nothing, I installed the v2.1.0 via USB myself which is quite easy. Wouldn't recommend if unfamiliar with Android or some tinkering though.

Software is not part of manufacturers warranty. If it fails, you should still be able to drive to a dealer, there's only the simple UI available then. Waiting for OTA is of course the "official" method, and updating via USB doesn't update all hardware modules, just the tablet.

If you plug in your USB and see the QR code popup, hold the left button on the steering wheel (left button next to volume scroll wheel) and hold down the volume button on the gear selector (the wheel). The system will reboot and install the update.

Is the dealer too far away for you to get an update via him?

A bit, I work in shifts half of the time and currently hard to get there before they close. The dealer where I ordered the car is over an hour away, there are others closer but they had some very bad communication so prefer not to go there.

Where can I check which version is installed and where can we online see: which version is available in which countries
