Chinese climate controls are not to be equaled to European ones. Not really a fault, they just expect different outcomes from different settings that we do. Take it for a spin, listen for roadnoises, some of their cars don't have that well insulated doors. Their software is more conservative than Tesla (who are the gold star in the category), but generally it just works

The price is more like 40990€ they show you a price with maximum government funding. However, not everyone receives it, and it is also not 100% certain whether it even applies to vehicles not manufactured in the EU.

According to the website: maximum 6000 Euro Government money and 12000 Euro "BYD E-Bonus". I wonder why they are offering such a high discount.

I think their sales declined in the fourth quarter of 2025.

35k would be a marvelous deal! I bought mine for 38k. But as the others mentioned: not everyone is getting full funding.

Correct. My main worry would be, how is service, customer service, parts replacement? I am very hesitant of getting a BYD car although I absolutely love its look

Build quality is great. Auto braking(can be turned off) caused someone to rearend me, range seems all over the place(ive still yet to get to grips with it) but overall its a really nice drive.

Do you mean comfort, Design or excellence? I am from Germany too / made a Test Drive Yesterday and i am thinking about buying too. Prices i got so far: - 37k for BYD Seal RWD 313 hp "Design" - 40k for BYD Seal AWD 530 HP "Excellence" Thats before the Gouvernement Bonus. Which i can only get if i let my mother buy the car. Since i earn too much. With 5k Bonus that should bring down the AWD to 35k. 3 Questions from my Side: 1) how much more Energy consumption would the AWD be vs 313 hp RWD? 2) anyone knows the Changes of the German Mini Facelift ? And the actual Delivery Times ? 3) which Colour would you prefer? I think about black or white. I am not into the light blue or grey. Best regads Philipp

I’m currently driving a BMW I5 on a company lease and have loved driving it for the past few years it’s a bit of a bigger beast but I test drive the BYD seal excellence last week and it felt really fun to drive solid interior feels solid and very good quality I’d actually say it’s not inferior to my BMW and that is supposed to be in a different class of its own at the luxury end, but I pulled the trigger and getting it delivered in about a month time and looking forward to having all wheel drive as well and I feel as a few extras on these Chinese cars that you have to pay extra on the German ones! I think give them another five years and all the German marks are really going to have a run for their money if they don’t stop throwing in loads of technology extras!

Ich hatte gestern den Design. Sehr schönes Auto aber ich will auch eher den excellence. Meiner Meinung nach ist der Aufpreis für die vollausstattung zu gering um nicht den zu nehmen. Vor allem sind da auch die besseren Dämpfer und das headup Display drin.
