Excessive Trim noise Seal 4x2

Nitrogliserin | 2026-02-05 20:02 | 18 views

The car is only 3 months old. Started to make these trim noises on the upper panel. The service will take the car next week and detach the panel and check if there’s any loose cable or isolation tape. Is there anyone who has experienced a similar issue? I wish there is an easier way without the surgery.

I don’t think you’re meant to fiddle with it, if you stop touching it won’t make a noise 🤷🏽‍♂️

Constantly making noise even on a flat road. Even without touching it….

Sorry to break it to you bud, but it is a Chinese car, good for being economical however not premium as they try to sell themselves

The trim noise issue has nothing to do with BYD being a Chinese car. Seal is more premium than most of the car in the market. My other car is Volvo X40 Recharge. Interior is more plastic. But you know what Volvo is also Chinese ;)

I see all those brands as inferior daily drivers. BYD cars are fine for daily commute and low cost transportation, quality is hit or miss and those don’t feel as good as those look
