Seal UI Update Belgium

Hi everyone, I tried looking for information, but what I found is quite ambiguous. I received my BYD Seal today in Belgium. It was still running older software. When I arrived home I saw that I could update to v2.1. I was under the impression that this would also install the new UI however after installation the UI remains unchanged. I was wondering if I just have to wait a bit or if only a manual update would work in this case. Apologies if this has been answered before. Hoping to get some feedback from Belgian Seal users or people that have experienced the update cycle.

Sorry, can't answer your question, but I was hoping you could answer mine. I bought a seal u in january. How long did you have to wait? :)

Ordered my Seal in September, received it today :) You can ask the dealership, they should give tou a date

I picked up my new seal end of January, the version upgrade menu says it's running v2.1.0 but still old UI and v1.3.1 apparently (2407). My SIM works now and it still shows roaming, not sure if that's anything to do with it. Searching for updates doesn't work, if I don't get a new UI end of next week I'll bring it back to the dealer.

"Known problem" for some users! Was solved for them, by getting the update "re-installed" via USB-stick from the dealership.

I watched a YouTube video about a Sealion 7 not being up to date and the car dealer explained that it wouldn't happen until the sim was provisioned. There's probably a way to update it with a USB stick but probably best to wait a day or so.
