Music Stuttering on Android Auto (Sealion 7, Workaround Solution)

Hi Folks! For the last 2 months an issue has popped up with Android Auto when connected wirelessly to my Xiaomi 15 phone. Music and audio would randomly stutter every 10-15 seconds; this would happen after driving 10-20 minutes. I have reason to believe that this issue is related to the phone rather than the car. I'm happy to say I found a workaround solution to this issue. The workaround for stuttering audio was turning on personal hotspot on my device when being connected to the car. For some reason, this creates a very stable and reliable connection that stops music from stuttering. I've tried resetting all setting on my phone, changed every developer setting, every car bluetooth setting, every car wifi setting, but nothing worked. My theory is the phone overly aggressively tries to power save the radio antennas every time its locked, and personal hotspot overrides this. I know this post might be specific to my setup, it might be an isolated incident, but if I can at least save 1 person from tearing their hair out like I was it was worth it. And if anyone finds a more permanent solution, do please let me know. I'd also love to rant about how dogsh\*t Xiaomi is compared to the iPhone it replaced; thanks for all the headaches. But thats a rant for a different forum.

Feelsbadman I switched from my Google 9 pro fold, to a more niche Nothing Phone 3a pro, and I lost the ability to use my phone as a remote key for my SL6 (where you tap your phone against the side mirrors to open). First world problems, but it's my fault..

Sorry to hear than man. But double check that you have Google Wallet and your settings have enabled it. My phone initially would throw out an error with digital key because Xiaomi decided to not package it with Google Wallet in my country. 3 months after I got my car, Xiaomi decided to enable Google Wallet so I could use the digital key.
