Rear wiper blade replacement
Can anyone tell me how to get the rear wiper blade off of a Seal U ! I’ve pulled it, pushed it, squeezed it and tried every variation of the above but the swine just doesn’t move in any direction. I’m sitting with the replacement blade and being told by BYD to engage service mode’ to facilitate removal but service mode is not relevant to the rear wiper blade! It does not reset to the vertical and even if it did it wouldn’t make any difference. BYD advise, when I rang the service department, was ‘book it in for a service’ How the hell would changing the oil and spark plugs assist in replacing the rear wiper blade? Maybe I’m just being too gentle with it? But I’m terrified of breaking the arm and being told by the service people that I’ll have to contact the sales team and buy a new car to fix it Looking forward to hearing back from sensible owners who have had to replace their rear wiper blade.
