the reviews are mainly negative because this model is small. But battery size/range/efficiency/aerodynamics considered, this is basically the best SUV you can get in this segment without going significantly larger. you would never road trip with 6 people in it because you won't have enough storage

I wouldn’t road trip in one of these because… I’m on a road trip. I want to be able to drive 800+ miles in a day without having to stop for 30+ minutes at a time per 300 miles. That’s 12 hours of driving along with at least 1.5 hours worth of charging time if you’re getting 300 miles per charge, and it only takes 30 minutes to charge.

That was my first thought. Their heads are inches or less from the rear glass panel. Their bodies are awfully close to the bumper too. When that thing accordions in a rear end collision thats going to be messy.
