CreeperIan02 2025-09-05 04:22

God DAMN that's a sleek interior. Feels on-par with the S/X (maybe even more futuristic?) If only the exterior looked good lol

babblingducks 2025-09-05 04:24

Genuinely, I think this may be their best commercial yet. It just feels satisfying.

voodoo_mama_juju1123 2025-09-05 04:26

For real. Just straight ASMR. Really hope we see this in the US.

hard_issues 2025-09-05 04:28

Bring this into the US and I’m immediately buying

Dragunspecter 2025-09-05 04:31

Does China really use that different battery icon, interesting lol

MisterBumpingston 2025-09-05 04:32

There’s a brief drive by a Chinese YouTuber on private land at 40 km/h and over speed bumps: - suspension bouncier than Juniper with rebound - air pressure sound evident in third row - easy to be thrown around in third row smacking side wall

This vehicle is great.

StartledPelican 2025-09-05 04:53

Is... is it hot in here? *fans self vigorously*

szzzn 2025-09-05 04:59

Same and I have a 4 month old juniper model y at 1.99%

szzzn 2025-09-05 04:59

Yeah there is, they just won’t move someone’s in them.

BrendoBoy17 2025-09-05 04:59

I thought there was no sound and thus watched it mute, looks good though

j3lunt 2025-09-05 05:03

Can't wait to shift into Park as I turn on my dome lights.

Cchaireazy 2025-09-05 05:04

Nah

szhod 2025-09-05 05:05

Everything is cheaply made. Even the really well shot video can’t hide it.

Heidenreich12 2025-09-05 05:07

100% - want to replace the wife’s car and this would be perfect

cmdr-William-Riker 2025-09-05 05:09

But how many cup holders?

-1701- 2025-09-05 05:13

Is anyone ever going to show someone sitting in the back two seats? They must be insanely small.

psychoacer 2025-09-05 05:13

Those pop up arm rests are going to get destroyed quickly

HoPMiX 2025-09-05 05:14

Even the American made cars are better in China. wtf.

My_Man_Tyrone 2025-09-05 05:17

The drive shifter being gone is fine by me. I actually kinda like the touch screen shifter

420Deez 2025-09-05 05:17

THEY CAN DO FLUFFIN BOTH

[deleted]

techdaddy1980 2025-09-05 05:18

I'm sorry, but reaching up to above my rear view mirror to shift my car into reverse, drive, or park is a MASSIVE safety hazard, and an incredibly stupid design. They put one of the steering column stocks back on, why not the other. The two stock controls were intuitive, easy to use, and quick to use in a pinch. Trying to poke a touch sensitive button on my head liner is not.

Alpinaaa 2025-09-05 05:19

No thanks

sukaface 2025-09-05 05:23

they'll likely do this after EV incentive goes bye bye...

arditus 2025-09-05 05:27

I’d buy this today.

lpy1994 2025-09-05 05:31

its alright, my juniper is better🫣

iconocrastinaor 2025-09-05 05:33

Yep, mostly 2014 GM base model quality

abatwithitsmouthopen 2025-09-05 05:36

That’s only for emergencies. You shift through the touch screen and if enabled auto shift not even that. I can’t remember the last time I touched the screen to shift. I just press the brake and it shifts for me.

BikebutnotBeast 2025-09-05 05:43

Exactly the same. Tesla take my money dammit.

Hungry-Chicken-8498 2025-09-05 05:50

How much is it

Ok_Excitement725 2025-09-05 06:09

I’ll eat my hat if they don’t release this in the US within 12 months.

jedi2155 2025-09-05 06:30

5'8" should be no problem

dbarciela 2025-09-05 06:36

It has for blinkers. You can see at 24 sec.

Delladv 2025-09-05 06:38

I hope some of the features will come down to the regular Y and 3.. like the gear selector close to the dome light and the other stuff in the cargo area!

flight147z 2025-09-05 06:45

Aren't these designed for markets where people have drivers (like china)

rkhan7862 2025-09-05 06:45

well everything is following that now

rkhan7862 2025-09-05 06:47

maybe they should do air suspension too and just ambient noise through the speakers to help with air pressure ear feeling

MisterBumpingston 2025-09-05 06:56

Those are all Model X features.

Salt-Cause8245 2025-09-05 07:02

My expensive appliances are always broken, while my cheap stuff never breaks. So, I’m not sure what to tell you. I guess cheap is no longer an insult, I suppose.

Admirable_Trouble574 2025-09-05 07:04

Sick as HELL! Take my money damnit!!

Inevitable_Ad_711 2025-09-05 07:11

Do you have a link? I saw a suspension setting that prioritized rear seat comfort, maybe that changes things.

pachewychomp 2025-09-05 07:14

How much for the front seats? I’d love to buy those and put them into my current Y.

Zina_1of 2025-09-05 07:28

They don't want to show you how useless that third row is... You are totally cramped sitting in the trunk....

Raunhofer 2025-09-05 07:29

I felt that many parts looked uncomfortably cheap when observed that close.

MisterBumpingston 2025-09-05 07:31

I’ve seen that setting as well. I assume it’s similar to Model 3 Highland Performance. [This is the video where they analysed Model Juniper and Y L and compared them to Xiaomi YU7. It’s in Chinese with English subtitles.](https://youtu.be/0CKWi_hQpZY)

klawUK 2025-09-05 07:36

its a nicely shot video - but wouldn’t you expect them to show you the captains seats and rear row - kinda the main selling point of this model?

HgnX 2025-09-05 08:23

They will sort these things out. I remember the Plaid having abysmal track suspension. And one year later it was genuinely very good. Somehow Tesla does also work behind the scenes and just improves on tweakable shipped features.

rupees_al 2025-09-05 09:26

So... If the screen has Drive/reverse slider (which I think should be the other way round) Where were the drive, reverse, hazard buttons that they used a little earlier

DyuSPY 2025-09-05 09:50

I still don’t like the air vents and they don’t directly go where you want it to go. Sometimes after sport or activities I’m so hot I want on my face but it can never do that. Maybe I need to DIY a ducted pipe to my face lol

[deleted] 2025-09-05 10:05

I love it 😍😍😍

[deleted] 2025-09-05 10:21

1 extra seat and $8000 more.

RicMedio 2025-09-05 10:44

🤤

Talklessreadmore007 2025-09-05 10:47

Model Y L with HW5 will be the sweet spot.

svswen 2025-09-05 11:02

Got into one when I visited China last month, don't feel impressed at all after tried many other vehicles in the same mall, but still hope it can be available in the US when we are going to replace our current model 3

gxddamnx 2025-09-05 11:06

the black headliner makes it feel so premium, really wish my m3p had it..

JF0909 2025-09-05 11:17

Same here! I'm in the market for a 3 row vehicle and none of the EV options are appealing.

Sweet-Ad2579 2025-09-05 11:18

shame i cant buy one... because of the implication

UltraLisp 2025-09-05 11:26

Near dome lights for emergency

Tjessx 2025-09-05 11:32

Will trade in my X for this when it releases in Europe

Next-Mail2444 2025-09-05 11:58

Should’ve waited! 😢

midnight_to_midnight 2025-09-05 11:59

I just want the black fucking headliner option in the US. To hell with the rest of the car.

mooktakim 2025-09-05 12:16

After 2 years with Model 3 I can say how the way air vents work is the most annoying thing about the Tesla. It's great for demos and looks cool on videos. But to actually use it day to day is so annoying. The vents are located in front of the driver. All the air hits the steering wheel. After many attempts I can't get it to blow air directly onto me without it freezing my hands or getting blocked. I wish they positioned it to the side.

lolariane 2025-09-05 12:31

Model Y-eeeeeee

cuddlepwince 2025-09-05 12:34

When will this come to usa?

doublebass120 2025-09-05 12:34

Fwiw, it seems like there are touch-sensitive PRND buttons overhead

Electronic_Table_620 2025-09-05 12:54

And No, Model Y L & 26 MYP are not coming to US.

heezle 2025-09-05 12:56

They need to fix the damn wireless chargers. They don’t work with the camera lens bumps. Add MagSafe.

Grandpas_Spells 2025-09-05 13:12

This competes favorably against: * Current Model Y * Minivans * 3 Row SUVs. for many buyers. The advantage is the latter two are often quite expensive so it's not terribly spendy by comparison if it tracks the Chinese markup. It also solves the problem 3 row buyers find when they discover they never actually use the 3rd row. Musk is saying it won't come here because he doesn't want to tank his Q3 sales. It'll ship here in Q4 most likely. Edmunds review of the current Y is glowing, this will probably win MT Car of the Year. I'll swap my X for this.

majesticjg 2025-09-05 13:22

Fantastic. It's almost everything I want the Model X to be.

Kool61577 2025-09-05 13:23

That 3rd row is not for adults.

Mybodydifferent12 2025-09-05 13:32

Chinerrrrrrrr

ISayAboot 2025-09-05 13:58

I would buy this instantly. Why can't they just launch this here?!

divinebaboon 2025-09-05 14:02

this vid does https://youtu.be/BLVMKM9RY1c?si=EYR7rSqFq0Rf9HQa&t=869

MyFaveLilThrowaway 2025-09-05 14:16

Or just a seat weight sensor like the one that alerts for non seat belted passengers

1Rocnam 2025-09-05 14:26

Still ugly and basic.

rotten_cockk 2025-09-05 14:41

Model Y the looooong way

LightBringer81 2025-09-05 14:45

But can I take out the back seats to use it as a four seater with a massive trunk?

Mikep976 2025-09-05 14:46

For all those moving pieces, this thing will squeek and rattle like a tin can if it ever makes it to the US and isn't made by Shanghai’s superior assembly line lol

brandonchristensen 2025-09-05 14:53

Is this bigger than the American Y? Either way, looks incredible. Bring it here please!

electricshadow 2025-09-05 14:56

I'm hoping when I'm in the market to upgrade my Model 3 in 2027, it'll have both shifters back. Using the buttons on the steering wheel combined with the screen to shift gears during my test drives with the Highland, I wasn't a fan of it. I'm sure I'd get used to it, but that's Tesla for you. Giving you a solution to a problem they created.

Ninj4s 2025-09-05 15:02

All Teslas with the shifter on the screen has backup buttons somewhere. S/X below the phone charger and 3/Y in the roof between the interior lights.

broadenandbuild 2025-09-05 15:07

I want my stalk

Dr_Pippin 2025-09-05 15:14

Just open the door, no need to hit park.

Dr_Pippin 2025-09-05 15:15

I directed the passenger vent to have it blowing on me. Took me many years to realize I could do that.

DZDEE 2025-09-05 15:38

Cant have this in the USA. You know because ::checks notes:: autonomy.

[deleted] 2025-09-05 15:45

[deleted]

mumuevo 2025-09-05 15:46

All I heard this is only for the Chinese market

shaggy99 2025-09-05 15:49

I'm surprised they don't show the look from OUTSIDE, as the extra length makes the shape a little less blimp like.

Otto_the_Autopilot 2025-09-05 15:52

Which ones?

StartledPelican 2025-09-05 16:07

>MASSIVE safety hazard Ah, Reddit, never change. Hyperbole is the only language we need to speak.

Jussepapi 2025-09-05 16:08

You must have avoided driving in rain then :)

StartledPelican 2025-09-05 16:09

This is a WAG (wild ass guess), but I think the buttons for gear shifting will come to all models. My completely unfounded, didn't-even-ask-chat reason is that Europe is starting to enforce physical controls for certain vehicle operations in order to obtain the highest safety rating. If that includes shifting, then Tesla will do it to keep that top safety rating.

StartledPelican 2025-09-05 16:11

I believe it is ~7 inches longer and a bit taller.

StartledPelican 2025-09-05 16:12

It might depend on your phone/case. My Pixel 5 with a cheap rubber case charges just fine. My wife's iPhone 13 with a loopy can't because the loop pushes it up.

[deleted] 2025-09-05 16:13

[deleted]

ConfidentFlorida 2025-09-05 16:15

I want to see an adult sitting in the back row.

azsheepdog 2025-09-05 16:22

It isnt like they were made in china or..... wait.

hahnsoloii 2025-09-05 16:25

I say two features used here (not including the new seat configuration stuff) that I didn’t know where in my MY26

Vince_CarRants 2025-09-05 16:59

Shame the US will never see this

Sneakatone2 2025-09-05 17:14

What does the L stand for?

Raunhofer 2025-09-05 17:23

Like for example the drive selector, see how much it gives up. Or the wheel buttons.

Kindly_Tree6094 2025-09-05 17:33

This will sell like hotcakes in the US

Dr_Phil_McCrevice 2025-09-05 17:34

Now that I know that the armrests retract, their odd office chair styling makes more sense to me now.

Brutaka1 2025-09-05 17:41

One thing I've learned with vehicles sold in in China is that they're much more premium than their origin counterpart. They have such a competing market that they're legally forced to make a very appealing and cheap vehicle. This isn't just a Tesla thing, this is a whole range of manufacturer method.

itmaybemyfirsttime 2025-09-05 17:56

Rear arm rests, any of the switches/pulls, sunviser, carpeting, cup holders. Trim basically

mooktakim 2025-09-05 18:29

why would driving in the rain change things?

mooktakim 2025-09-05 18:30

yes you can try that but the screen is in the way. and ofcourse passenger issue lol

Jussepapi 2025-09-05 18:32

Because you’d get a chance at seeing the automatic wipers in action or rather lack thereof.

mooktakim 2025-09-05 18:34

Oh, yeh I never had issues with it tbh. I find that when I hit the wipe button it gets the idea and does better automatic wiping. Almost like prompting it

atooraya 2025-09-05 18:35

You can’t fit anyone taller than 4’8” in the tires row. I have the third row and it’s miserable.

Jussepapi 2025-09-05 18:41

I am jealous. That does tend to happen for me as well but not super consistently.

TheKrs1 2025-09-05 18:54

TurbulentDinner8264 2025-09-05 19:22

True Asian would’ve kept those clear protective stickers till the day they sold the car.

KeepItUpThen 2025-09-05 19:33

It's OK for different people to like different things, but personally I'm not prepared to own a car that needs a touchscreen to change into Drive or Reverse.

Low_Buddy_7773 2025-09-05 19:38

That's because yours is the older shorter version, the new one is longer, longer than model x inside.

ShastaManasta 2025-09-05 19:43

I have thigh support on my kia telluride but my thighs dont even reach the seat. Seems useless.

A55Man-Norway 2025-09-05 19:54

Same here in Europe!

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:17

I have one and find I need it maybe 1 out of 10 drives. The auto gear shifting Beta thing works most of the time and it’s not hard to swipe on the screen or push the overhead buttons. You don’t need to put it in park either you just get out and it does it. It makes sense it was removed.

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:19

It shifts automatically too (in beta). I thought I was going to hate it but it actually works great and you find you don’t need a dedicated lever at all.

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:21

Even the normal juniper senses things there. If the seat weight doesn’t stop it any light resistance stops it. The normal juniper I have also folds down the rear with a button

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:21

I own the non L version and I hard disagree. It does not look or feel cheap in person.

Cookiegums 2025-09-05 20:22

This looks great!

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:23

Exactly this. The auto shift works most of the time. It’s really rare I even have to shift the car manually with the touch screen and I never use the overhead

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:24

Or just buy it because it’s a good car instead of letting the fearmongering get to you. I just bought a juniper a month ago

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:26

I’m pretty sure the rear seats can fold down independently of the 2nd row

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:27

I’ve got one and got used to not having it after one day. There’s no need with the auto shifting. Get an aftermarket S3XY commander stalk if you really want the functionality back

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:28

I have an iPhone 12 with a MagSafe and it charges fine. So does my wife’s non MagSafe case on her iPhone 16

StartledPelican 2025-09-05 20:29

Come on, mate. I'm 5'6" and fit comfortably in the third row once the 2nd row is moved up. I wouldn't try the 3rd row for days of road tripping but, around town, getting 6-7 people to the movies/restaurant/park/etc. in one car? Yeah, its fine.

Schnitzhole 2025-09-05 20:29

Actually this might be a good reason it’s only being released in china.

peripheralpressors 2025-09-05 20:30

This may be their best Tesla yet. Also, I’m glad they put the Tesla logo back on the front. It looked weird without it

halfresco 2025-09-05 21:13

350miles. Hmmmm

Salt-Cause8245 2025-09-05 21:14

The new one is mostly soft touch alcantara you can’t find much plastic

textisaac 2025-09-05 21:22

I think that’s could be the 12v battery - that extra green battery

OptimizeWithAPassion 2025-09-05 21:38

wtf they got black headliner…

Highlander2671 2025-09-05 22:04

- Do we have any unique features to show off? - No - Okay great, just make the commercial go through a dozen different features that are totally standard on literally every car, but make it seem like its a REALLY big deal to have things like emergency flashers and volume controls. - Consider it done ✔️ - We are so fucking amazing...

Narwhalcommando 2025-09-05 22:06

fr. i can already hear the crinkly movement and failing motor when its 8+years old

Inert82 2025-09-05 22:41

Does this has the updated screen as the new MYP?

KeepItUpThen 2025-09-05 23:20

That sounds cool and I want to see it sometime, but even just changing from the old-school lever type shift levers (like 1990s Toyota Corolla) to the newer round knob-type gear selectors (like 2020 Corolla) can be hard for some people. I can adapt to the new tech, but sometimes I need to let my parents use my car and I can't imagine them trying to work a touch screen. 20+ years of muscle memory can be hard to overcome.

Too_theXtreme 2025-09-05 23:34

They pulled out all the stops with lumbar support on this one

Artistic_Okra7288 2025-09-06 00:17

Only thing about the screen controls for shifting is I wish they would let me invert it. As a gamer in my late 30s, I still shift backwards when I mean to go forwards after months with it. Just can't fully get used to it.

Artistic_Okra7288 2025-09-06 00:18

I wish they would let us invert the controls. I keep putting it in reverse by mistake.

Malawi_no 2025-09-06 00:24

Seems like they do something weird with all new models. Now it seems like you have to press a button up by the mirror every time you want to change direction or park the car. Might not be so lovely when doing a three point turn or parking in tight spaces etc.

Crucinine 2025-09-06 00:48

The gear selector buttons are already there beside the hazard light button in the Y and the 3. Look carefully for the outlines of the PRND letters and just press to shift

The_Dynasty_Warrior 2025-09-06 01:18

Yup, I need a 3rd row seater next year

eunmichlee 2025-09-06 03:19

You can make it go directly to your face. You have to use two fingers where it shows where the wind blows on the screen

No-Temperature-4864 2025-09-06 03:54

Oooh. A new swasticar!

Elyankee69 2025-09-06 04:35

Great let’s keep giving intelectual property to our enemies. Great idea guys…

razorrome 2025-09-06 06:08

Model Y Not for the US

icy1007 2025-09-06 07:53

Why is it the Model Y L when it says Model YYY on the back and door sills? Lol

icy1007 2025-09-06 07:54

Elon says it wouldn’t be made in the U.S. until the end of 2026.

icy1007 2025-09-06 07:54

Same with the Model 3+

StevenK71 2025-09-06 08:19

With so many motors in everything I expect things to fall apart in a few years and owners to go more often to the dealership for repairs than driving it, LOL

TheDudeFromPT 2025-09-06 10:44

Will this ever be released outside of China?

ZombieManilow 2025-09-06 13:52

Stalks would make it near perfect.

infinit9 2025-09-06 15:38

What is the obsession of putting even then drive/reverse selection on a touch screen?

I had the same issue. While I still suspect my vents are broken somehow (my 2019 Model 3 vents were great), pinching the two streams together to form one and then directing that single stream totally changes how the air blows. Give that a try and see if you can get it to where you want.

Gold-Passion-7358 2025-09-06 16:35

Those are the rickety-est cup holders and arm rests I’ve ever seen… might as well put in the service request upon possession.

DevelopmentOk7039 2025-09-06 23:31

Tbh, for 2025, the quality looks cheap compared to the alternatives. Especially at 0:10 and 0:23.

Brettnet 2025-09-07 00:14

The profit margins have to be so much lower than the Standard Y for them not to sell in the US. This thing would sell so well

Brettnet 2025-09-07 00:16

I just need a larger trunk to fit a dog crate

Ok-Acanthaceae-442 2025-09-07 00:29

Is this coming to the US?

Netseraph2k 2025-09-07 00:33

So good except that it does not take gasoline.

Deathmeter1 2025-09-07 00:36

Alcantara is just plastic anyway though

Salt-Cause8245 2025-09-07 00:37

Just like fake leather is “plastic” cool story bro it’s much better than real leather

CommunicationCool146 2025-09-07 00:39

Wow, that’s a beautiful car

Hypnotique007 2025-09-07 01:35

Satisfying “unboxing” video

PotatoesAndChill 2025-09-07 09:15

Just be forever alone - problem solved.

The_Dynasty_Warrior 2025-09-07 23:58

Yeah this trunk space looks good with 3rd row up and can expand vertically, perfect for my wagon for my kids

brandonlive 2025-09-08 00:36

In my S I have never missed the shift stalk, the on-screen swipe mechanism plus auto shift works great. (Turn signals are another matter)

420Deez 2025-09-08 00:37

either way they can easily do both

brandonlive 2025-09-08 00:37

The touch screen is the easy way, but every vehicle with that also has a backup option that doesn’t require the screen (it’s even shown in this video).

AdCareless1761 2025-09-08 03:17

Nah that’s just their battery symbol. Probably has to do with some regulation

jg3hot 2025-09-08 03:42

Lol. No way. My kids barely fit back at under 100 pounds. Im 5 10 and its not even close to fitting.

tmblweed85 2025-09-08 09:18

I can’t make them go away from my face, it dries out my eyes and contact lenses. It is annoying and I hate it. I wish I could turn it off completely.

Dr_Pippin 2025-09-08 13:51

I can direct the passenger vent to blow directly on me without issue - I think I had always thought the screen would be in the way or that the vent wouldn't angle over far enough, but neither are the case. And my wife doesn't like the air blowing on her anyway, so it's a win-win for my family (and that's why I found it out, one day when we left our house I'd been working in the yard and was hot so wanted to have the a/c blowing hard while she was complaining of being cold, so I just swiped her vent away from her and was pleasantly surprised to find it was blowing on me).

epSos-DE 2025-09-08 14:49

I would rather prefer === REAL hemp textile cabin , instead of all the useless automated gimmicks for people who can not move seats manually !!! ITs all plastic on wheels !

epSos-DE 2025-09-08 14:50

its all low quality plastic and micro plastic fibers that are spray on ! Just get some real cotton denim or something ! Enough with the spray on plastic fibers already !!! Car costs more than 30k. for sure they would have used some real natural fibers, instead of spray on plastics !!!

No_Pho_King_Way 2025-09-08 19:55

I’d love one of this to make wife jealous.

dr-pork 2025-09-08 21:14

Mmmm you can almost smell all the low quality plastic through the video.

88gabriel 2025-09-09 02:01

Trying so hard for Chinese market )

burnmycheezits 2025-09-09 04:43

The entire interior looks cheap. The seats look thin and uncomfortable. Motorized arm rests are a terrible idea. Having the shifter next to the hazards is also extremely unnecessarily dumb. Some things don’t need to be redesigned just to be different.

Snakend 2025-09-09 05:42

The rear row is for children. Not going to get grown people in there. I have two model Y's I did for Black level service on Uber/Lyft. They were pulled off the platform because customers complained too much.

mr_chillout 2025-09-09 06:13

Europe needs it

zualtfuerl33t 2025-09-09 08:48

I think all of that will work fine with Tesla quality standards

aaclavijo 2025-09-09 12:25

Wow...I just want to set it on fire. 🔥

Ok_Distance_2011 2025-09-10 01:47

Same

mailwasnotforwarded 2025-09-11 05:19

Find it so weird they offer all these new features but fail to update the MS/MX with similar or better features.

Willing-Ad-6403 2025-09-11 18:14

I just want the black headliner in my Juniper 🫩

No-Dot-45 2025-09-13 09:42

Oh god. This is a whole new crap developed by shabby American companies.

tealcosmo 2025-09-22 01:21

Have you tried dragging the air vents on the screen? You can direct them.

tmblweed85 2025-09-22 11:18

I have and tried everything but I just can't get them right and can't close them out, at least on my side. Mine is a 2019 but I hear the new ones allow you to completely close the side you want.

[deleted] 2025-09-25 16:21

They should have a option to have captain seats in the regular model Y. I don’t care about a 5th seat

Stopher775 2025-09-25 19:56

Was that a new seat

Relative-Scholar3385 2025-09-26 23:56

lol

Born-Emu-3499 2025-10-05 11:41

Please sell this in Australia....

KeeslerCondoChief 2026-01-01 20:55

You always have option to shift by pressing the buttons above the rear view mirror where the lights are OR use the Autoshift feature. It usually knows which direction you want to go.

KeeslerCondoChief 2026-01-01 20:58

I’m 69 and had absolutely no issues adapting. Don’t count them out yet. 😂. Tech ain’t that hard.

KeeslerCondoChief 2026-01-01 21:02

I just found out that when my wife doesn’t want it blowing on her you can long press on the screen where the vent is and it will turn her vent off. 😊

KeeslerCondoChief 2026-01-01 21:06

Try long pressing on the screen where the air is coming out. I know on the passenger side it will turn the vent off. Haven’t tried it in the driver side though. 26 MYLR RWD

Dr_Pippin 2026-01-01 21:48

That is only on the newer models with newer hardware. We have a 2018 and a 2019 Model 3, neither of which have the necessary hardware. That is definitely a nice feature for those of you who have it, though!

tmblweed85 2026-01-03 00:16

Mine is a 2019 which don’t have that feature.

That_Turnover2850 2026-01-27 03:05

Very cool! And thought my 2024 MYP was badass.

Goztepe1985 2026-02-09 00:20

Cheap parts.

TechRyze 2026-02-20 01:02

This is why the Chinese competition is GOOD for the industry. Forces them to raise their game, and deliver a better product to customers, rather than only pandering to shareholders, like Microsoft.
