Picked up CPO MYLR from Tesla today. Disappointed.

Some scratches, dings, lose rear bumper panel, bumper paint peel at headlights, etc. I expected those for a 2022. Did not expect seat heater to be broken. Wheel weights falling off. What I really did not expect was a loud high pitched noise evident as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot. Got worse on the highway while cruising. It’s not normal and should have been caught during inspection. I don’t think I have a choice other than to get it fixed under the warranty, which is a total waste of my time. Just wanted to vent.

They should have fixed this stuff before man

For sure. I could have left it for the seat and wheel weights but I figured I’d just take it as I’d have to uber 30 mins home. The noise was just aggghhh. I was planning on driving it 500 miles over the next week. Now I’m not sure if mentally I can.

That sucks to hear. I just got a CPO 2024 M3P and it was next to perfect. Had a few rock chips, a few light scratches. But otherwise great. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. That's unacceptable and I hope they make it right.

Congrats! That’s a rocket ship. I’m sure they’ll make it right outside of the cosmetic stuff (or it’s going back). Just frustrating.

They better. Because what they gave you was unacceptable.. please update this post. I want to see what they do. I can't believe they let you drive off with that.

I’ll update for sure. Go Green!

Lol. Blue is my primary. But I root for green as well as long as they aren't playing each other. I know. Sacrilege.. but I went into the military instead of college. So I hope I can get a pass 😂

You know you didn’t have to buy it! Haha I wouldn’t have if I saw it in that condition when I went to pick it up.

Report all problems immediately before driving through app. If possible repair them before driving or putting any miles. Most issues are covered including excessive wear if you report immediately. If you drove more than 100 miles or 7 days before reporting , they are not covered. I made mistake for glass reporting after driving 200 miles and was told about 100 mile limit.

Good deal! I have a split family.

I reported everything I saw at the dealership before I signed. I couldn’t tell about the noise issue until I drove off. Now I can’t return it. My only recourse is to get it repaired through Tesla even though it obviously did not pass the CPO check. First appointment is 12 days out.

That's gotta be rough when they play each other😂

Add rattle from air conditioning at low speeds. Add passenger side seat cushion not secure with big gap.
