Remove wheel covers on 26 performance?

1uisf | 2026-03-16 00:36 | 4 views

I am picking up my 26 MYPerf on Thursday and I am pretty sure I want to remove the wheel covers. It looks way better. Wanted to check from people who has done it. 1. Have you noticed any negative difference at highway speed driving? 2. Was it easy to do? I've seen a couple of videos and seems like a PITA to do. 3. I understand there will be some range drop, I am ok with that, but was it too bad? I suspect could be a 5% hit. I wanted to reach out to the delivery guys to check if they could just not install them and leave them at the trunk or something

Just do it and put them back on if you want

Question 1 and 3 are the same question.

No, I mean vehicle stability on number 1. I read a YouTube comment someone said that over 75mph they felt the car less stable.

Do you believe everything you read on the internet? Do you really believe a Tesla cannot safely drive over 75mph? Sounds like that vasectomy you got stripped out a little bit of logic from your brain.

Yep. Find out for yourself if it's worth it. You can always put it back on.
