Probably easier than bringing a battery to the car.

Next level range anxiety

czarl13 2026-03-15 23:13

I wonder why he wouldn't drop the car right there to charge.

KnowledgeFantastic72 2026-03-15 23:16

I’ve seen this happen about 3-4 times in remote supercharger locations

lmamakos 2026-03-15 23:16

Maybe there's delivery afterwards?

ContestRemarkable356 2026-03-15 23:21

Let it get to 10% so you know the HV battery isn’t having any issues, and also this way the car can be driven off of the bed, not pulled off by grabbing the tire/tow point & pulling it off

AdSquare3489 2026-03-15 23:21

Maybe it's easiert to get it off the truck if it has power and can drive itself off of the ramp.

JIsADev 2026-03-15 23:47

Maybe they had to take it back to the driver who stayed behind somewhere safe I hope

Had this happened to 2 of the Tesla owners I know of. Both said they were thankful it happened during the battery warranty.

"Billable hours" Hey boss this job took me 3 hours...

rongz765 2026-03-16 00:28

Seen it in person to what happen if they drop the car. It takes 3 man power + a lady to push the car towards the charger. Lol, this is actually the first time I’m seeing a tow truck done it right. Let alone the truck driver is probably alone.

The Junipers have reverse charging capabilities right?

Broozer98 2026-03-16 02:00

No, I believe just the performance/ premium

Dry_Situation_3582 2026-03-16 02:24

Ooh! What's that mean?

cabs2kinkos 2026-03-16 02:26

It means certain models of Tesla can charge others with a special cable. The Cybertruck can do it.

Dry_Situation_3582 2026-03-16 02:27

I just Googled it. Kind of like a jumper cable!

NecessaryInternet603 2026-03-16 02:41

No. What causes you to ask that?

Substantial_Chain718 2026-03-16 03:44

That is a new one! Interesting.
