Tire suggestions for 22MYLR

Boozanski-1823 | 2026-03-14 17:05 | 4 views

It’s time for new tires on my ’22 MYLR. Currently running OEM Continental ProContact Rx 255/45/r19. Are these run flats? Looking to improve ride and quietness without suffering extreme range loss. Prefer to go with a Michelin or Bridgestone tire, but not an absolute. Not looking to swap out wheels. Would going to a 50 or 55 series help noticeably with ride? Open to suggestions on size and brand/model. TIA

I went with Michelin ePrimacy tires in the stock size on my LR with 19" wheels. More efficient and better riding than the Contis and hopefully longer life. But, there's only so much improvement a tire can make especially on the pre "comfort suspension" cars. 18" wheels/tires could provide more cushion.

Done that! Most of the posts are older and in some cases the tires mentioned are no longer on the market; none that I saw addressed my question about a different profile tire.
