After planning for so long, I’ve finally gotten my dream car. This is my first Tesla, i went 2020 Model Y Long Range. I feel like a little kid on Christmas. I’m glad to be a part of the club

I got a blue one last month. 2020, 34,000 miles, $24K. Love it!

This is the first time I’ve read the owner’s manual for a vehicle. I’m just trying to figure out how everything works. I’ve never had a smoother ride!

Just think of it as driving your computer. And yes, it’s complex.

It’s a lot to process. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to brake like a normal person

After a couple of years I just think of it as a car, not an EV. When I drive my Wife's Volvo, it seems more complicated.

YouTube is your friend. A few things that weren't obvious at first. How to put it in neutral, use the parking brake. Use your basic functions and then expand from there.

I get that. I have an advantage though. I’ve been driving a Honda Insight for 25 years. Not only is regen braking normal for me, but I modified the car to give me manual control of the assist and regen, and also the ability to tweak both on the fly. It’s a kit called MIMA.
