Terrible

JohnRamboJr 2026-03-13 18:43

No

warriormango1 2026-03-13 18:44

Not really, in my opinion these things are worthless without a warranty. Unless its a absolutely killer deal than I say no. What is your plan in the battery fails after 16k more miles?

ItsJustAnotherVoice 2026-03-13 18:48

Lmao no

cfcgso1905 2026-03-13 18:53

KBB on my 2024, dual motor with FSD and less than 20K miles is $30K. You would be overpaying by a lot.

kbtech 2026-03-13 18:57

Run away 😋

DonnyDonster 2026-03-13 18:59

Are we really at a point where 100k+ mileage cars are over 10k now?

GucciTokes 2026-03-13 19:10

no way, absolutely not

warriormango1 2026-03-13 19:11

Its been like that for a while depending on the vehicle. Theres quite a few Lexus and Toyota models id spend 10k on even if they were above 200k miles.

reddituser4049 2026-03-13 19:12

I have had very little maintenance after my warranty expired. 176,000 miles so far and going strong. On what do you base your opinion of not owning after warranty?

Flaky_Guarantee5869 2026-03-13 19:14

Hell no

Mad_Phiz 2026-03-13 19:15

Just compare with teslas used car inventory. My dad just bought a 2024 with 7k miles and lots of warranty for 33

ddr2sodimm 2026-03-13 19:19

Pay $5 grand more for a 20-30k mile car. You’ll likely end up paying $5k anyway for repairs at 100k miles and then there’s always risk of battery failure. IMO, “pay” the $5k upfront now.

Squirrel698 2026-03-13 19:24

No, I got my Model Y for less than that at 49,000 miles, a premium long-range with everything (FSD, acceleration boost, mobile charging, and so on).

673NoshMyBollocksAve 2026-03-13 19:29

I think he’s probably worried about the battery or something

ChairKillerYi 2026-03-13 19:29

That seems pretty low, my LR RWD 2024 with 25k miles just got an offer from Carvana for $31,500

natttyyyy22 2026-03-13 19:32

Noooooo

jjj44200 2026-03-13 19:33

Nooooooooooo . Have you seen anything else !???

Unfair_Tonight_9797 2026-03-13 19:36

Where have you been? The used car market is nuts.

Unfair_Tonight_9797 2026-03-13 19:37

Dog water

AccidentalPickle 2026-03-13 19:46

104k miles in three years? Run

brndn02 2026-03-13 19:47

last may i got my wife a 2023 y lr with 8k miles and fsd for 31k

Drodriguez164 2026-03-13 19:49

Go on Kelly blue book and you can search up this car and find results for a lot of with the same price and wayyyyyyy less mileage. I looked it up near me and the ones going for 30k have like 20-30 thousand miles

PrizeMeans 2026-03-13 19:52

$10k in 2026 gets you a 2008 Corolla

zeh_shah 2026-03-13 20:01

Carvana is usually higher than KBB.

shivo33 2026-03-13 20:06

No

LightxDarkness93 2026-03-13 20:32

no

switchbacksrfun 2026-03-13 20:38

DonnyDonster 2026-03-13 20:46

I uhhh... Brought a Tesla and never looked back on car and gas prices.

1dayday 2026-03-13 20:47

Unfair_Tonight_9797 2026-03-13 21:01

Yea. I have teens.. not gonna do that.

gambit57 2026-03-13 21:12

My 23 has 40k and CarMax offered me $25k a couple of weeks ago. Even with some profit…

margiela-mad-man- 2026-03-13 21:17

general consensus: horrible pricing haha. don’t worry i’ll keep looking in the market ! thanks for all the advice.

Stone_Wahl 2026-03-14 22:22

Short Answer = NO Just to contrast... i just purchased my 2023 Model Y LR HW4 Dual Motor with 66k miles for $22,500 and it is in near perfect shape.
