18 inch rims

Creepy-Insect8163 | 2026-03-12 04:38 | 8 views

I currently drive a 2026 model y launch series and with 19 inch rims. I want to downgrade to 18 inch rims for better range and tire options. Will I be able to sell my 19 inch rims and for how much can I sell it for also how much does the 18 inch rims costs for 4 new ones? Anyone have experience getting the 18 inch rims ? Let me know. Thank You.

I alway post this but keep your originals if you can, I had 18 Inch t sport line aftermarket wheels on my MYP and they denied warranty suspension work bc of the wheels. Huge headache

Oh really? Ok now I am definitely keeping my stock 19 inch rims. Thanks for letting me know and for not gatekeeping that information. Sorry about your experience tho.

I dont know if my particular service center are just sticklers but they basically blamed everything on the wheels which was absurd. Was a real pita because I had sold my 21s. Just don't wanna see others go though all the headache.

>better range Going 18" isn't an automatic increase in range. The tires you buy, the design of the rims and it's weight all have to as good or better than what Tesla designed. That's hard to do. Easiest is to stick to what Tesla did. Buy lighter 18" wheels that are compatible with hubcaps that match Tesla's design and to buy T rated tires.
