New 8L Battery Model Y Premium RWD Europe

I am about to place an order for new Model Y Premium RWD in Europe but I noticed the range is now estimated and not WLTP - there are also speculations that Tesla put a new 8L battery (4680 ) instead of the LG 5M. I am concerned it is not tested fully yet and might perform poorly compared to previous ones. Should I look for a inventory vehicle and miss out on the new black headliner and new screen but get the LG 5M battery which they also put in performance model and has a higher range 622km (vs 609km in the rumoured new one) ? What would you do?

I have no clue, there is no data on the new one still - it’s a gamble.

Tienes la opción del Dual Motor. En principio sigue montando las de LG. De todos modos bastante opaco todo, únicamente han nombrado este cambio por tensiones en la cadena de suministro. Yo lo que he leído, sigue teniendo peor curva de carga que las de LG/panasonic

Hi, if you look at Tesla website, it's not official but everything is pointing to the fact that the Premium RWD and the "Standard" RWD have the same battery. So even though there're not saying it, the Premium RWD does have the same sh*tty battery as the Standard version (15% Range less compared to the 5M battery pack and lower charging speed). I was about to order the Premium RWD but they did the change few hours before I order it. On my side I decided to not go with the order for the moment. I'll look at other cars as this change makes the Y Premium RWD less s3xy.
