2020 MY LR

Left-Mixture5252 | 2026-03-09 20:47 | 4 views

Looking at getting a used 2020 MY LR as the prices are cheap. Is there that big of a difference in the 2022s? Or would I be content with the 2020 (coming from a 14 Lexus is 350).

I had a 2020 MYLR. I just test drove a new 2026. I felt like there was a significant upgrade. The suspension on all teslas isn’t great, but it is way better now. It’s very rough and bumpy on the 2020.

The main difference between 2020 and 2022 is probably the infotainment computer.  The best ryzen based ones are much snappier.  I also forget if 2020 is also two generations behind on FSD hardware (matters for autosteer)

There are pretty big differences. No heated steering wheel, no double pane glass, old console, lessor suspension, definitely HW3 (I’m not sure when the switch to HW4 was, but 2026 definitely has it) I just moved from an early 2021 MYLR to a 2026 MY premium, and it feels like a huge improvement

I just sold my 2020 MYLR; one of the very early ones from March of 2020. I bought two 2026 MYLR (one in June of last year and one just a few days ago) and the refinement, quietness, and suspension are all much improved. And, if you are a FSD user, as we are, the capabilities of FSD on the HW4 computer are DRAMATICALLY better.
