MYP stock rims to 19” or 20” forged?

Looking at getting Martian MW05.2 in either 19” or 20”. I’ve bent one of the original rims and have sidewalk damage, so it’s time for new shoes. I obviously want the protection of 19”, but like the look of 20”. Since I’m going to forged rims, do we think 20” is enough sidewall or do I just go all the way to 19”? Anyone have pics of these rims on your Tesla?

I’d go with the 19s. I value comfort over looks and the 19s will look just fine. I live in houston so the roads are dogshit, which is why i downsized from the god awful 21” uberturbines on my 2024 myp. Didn’t put the same rims that you mentioned though.

Thanks, I do really value the looks which is why I am torn (and why I’m considering spending my bonus on this price point of rim - no kids, treat yo self). I know the stock cast rims are shit and I’m tired of the vibration from having a slight dent. My brother got a M3P which felt smooth as butter when he got it - 2 weeks later I felt the same small vibration mine has and sure enough he had a bend too. Really looking forward to forged rims and a bit more sidewall to absorb potholes.

20”… but I love my 21” on the MY Performance. Hard to downsize when I look at her..

I’m thinking going to stronger forged rims and downsizing to 20” should be enough. I hate to sacrifice the looks so much and go 19”. This may be a decision I regret, but I’ll look good regretting it.

Yeah, I’m made the same way! Share what you pick out, interested.
