Share your RWD 2026 standard interior photos please 🙏

Kelsbels8 | 2026-03-08 04:21 | 5 views

I get my MY delivered on Wednesday. The suspense is killing me! The photos online are pretty vague. I’m curious about the inside. I chose the white exterior/black interior option. My brother has a 2023 AWD with white interior which I thought wouldn’t be too risky for my style of work. Please show your cars off to me 😁

Arent there tons of youtube videos covering the standard MY?

Kelsbels8 2026-03-08 04:37

Yes but I can’t find one that isn’t the premium. It’s weird not being able to get a list on the app of all the features with the model I’m purchasing. The manual is very vague

Nope. Similar to the OP I looked and didn’t see much. Everything is premium. I’m getting mine in like a week. I might shoot a quick video just because the space is so empty to help others out who are looking at the standard model.

I literally just searched “model y standard” on youtube and got tons of videos of people reviewing them. Theres no difference in between the standard rwd and standard awd as far as interior and exterior goes.

I literally just searched “model y standard” on youtube and got tons of videos of people reviewing them. Theres no difference in between the standard rwd and standard awd as far as interior and exterior goes. You can even search model y standard vs premium and get some videos on that too. Main difference between the standard and premium is the lack of the glass roof (its covered inside), worse sound system, rear light bar, and acceleration if i’m not mistaken. Again, tons of info online about this! Some examples: https://youtu.be/p_29T8oNy0M?si=kxGmpA-u5-GXROZW https://youtu.be/qESo3L1XYA0?si=2J6nTtbh6G2IwCpA

Thank you! I’ve been watching what I come across but they mainly focus on the features of the premium.

Congrats 🍾

Thank you! I’m not going to lie - all these videos of the premium dual motor are making me have FOMO. I sat for 6 hours deciding if I really need it or if the standard was enough and I confirmed the $250 reserve fee on the RWD. For background: I’m trading in my 3rd 3 series for this MY. I’ve always loved my BMWs but my third one has become just such a nightmare over the last 2 years. It’s painful how much I’ve put into it recently but at 148k miles I’m at odds. Im very excited to not have to deal with a euro mechanic 🤗

Out of Spec Kyle has had one for a bit. Goes through the entire vehicle in a long one, including the interior. You can search it up.

Thank you! I think the standard will be a good first one for me. We live in Texas and as much as I love the glass ceiling I think it would still feel hot during the summer. That was the biggest disappointment to find out because the website doesn’t show you much. No subwoofers..I think I will survive. As long as I can have the self driving capabilities that’s the only real deal breaker after experiencing it in my brother’s MY AWD. I’m just ready for the burden to be lifted off of owning a faulty 330i 🥳

Price is significantly different here in Canada vs the US, so we have an up to CAD$20k gap between Premium and Standard (if Tesla adjusts their wording and it ends up qualifying for our $5k rebate).  If it had Autosteer too, it would be very difficult for me not to trade in my 2021 Y SR for the 2026 standard.  Ours also has FM radio, apparently auto dimming mirrors and LP battery too.

Outside of the "cloth" seats, is it really much different? I've watched the videos and can't remember. smaller screen by 1/2' and only in grey headliner too?
