Normal, you get used to it after a few days, happens with every car but on this it is more noticeable because the lines seem closer due to the slope. Most suv it is flat

How long have you had the tint? I’ve heard it take up to 2 weeks or so to dry out and be better (you’ll always have a bit of blurriness compared to no tint). Especially if your area is cold.

I was told it's due to a bad tint job. My car had double vision at night after the tint. The windshield cracked later and I never got the tint replaced because of the double vision issue.

Remove it, any accident, an insurance company will use it against you.. why chance it because of the looks of a darker window. You’ll regret it in more than one way.
Edit: referring to front windshield

That is 100% a bad tint job. It should not look like that at all

But then I asked people what causes it. And I have yet to get an answer. Lol

It's mostly low quality/cheap tint film. Better film that gets applied by a professional doesn't do that.

This is complete nonsense. Rear window tint is perfectly legal everywhere. You don’t have to have a rear window at all for that matter.

Never put tint over the metal defroster. It's going to ruin the tint when that metal defroster heats up

Where are you supposed to put it?

The back window is already tinted. I did not tint mine.

Actually it’s Llumar. A decent quality film. I’m confused

I was told exactly the same.

I just find the film bad on the rear window when it’s dark outside and lights come behind, its not distracting me at all.

It is not covered a film layer, its only privacy glass. My idea of having the car tinted was to block UV and some heat

More than a week. The temperatures are not that high may be its because of this. May be I need to let the tint cure but I am not expecting much from this

Then it has to be a poor install. I'd give it a few days to make sure it doesn't need time to set. Otherwise, I'd take it back.

Have several tinted vehicles and they all show this. It’s the way light refracts around the defroster lines with the added tint layer

Not sure how long you had this but after a month it should be much better. Mine is 90% better after 5 months.

I don’t remember what I had on my rear window on my old model 3, I went pretty dark all around and the windows became more or less useless.
Even without the tint, I never used the rear view mirror, much blind spots and tiny window to view out of. I always just use the cameras lol

One of the biggest flaws with the vehicle is the rear window blind spots when backing up into a sunset that blinds the camera with glare or when rain drops block the camera.

I don't have this on my tint, so I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's considered normal with that specific film. I'm using autobahn i3.

When did you have your car tinted? May be at the first days it was just like mine. after couple of weeks it got better?
