Hi everyone! I finally have the opportunity to buy my first Tesla, but I'm having a hard time deciding between two options. The first one is a late 2021 model in Midnight Silver with a white interior and 20-inch wheels. It comes with Full FSD, has 60,000 miles on it, and the battery health is at 90%. The second one is a September 2022 model, also with 60,000 miles, but it's white with a black interior and no FSD. Both cars are priced exactly the same. Which one would you go for?" Both of them LR dual motor Thank you!

I'd go with fsd. It is really very useful. Rest of the Tesla experience, sure it's great. But fsd is future technology. Long drives, or daily commute stress GONE.

You are the first one who told me this Everyone says Intel is shit asf

The intel is dogshit but FSD is amazing, even on HW3. If you don’t get a car with it you have to pay $100 a month for it now.

Thank you!

I’m renting a Tesla right now to see if I want to buy one. I have the FSD and have been using it quite a bit. The FSD would be THE reason for me to purchase a Tesla so I recommend getting the one with the FSD included.

Same. FSD was why I bought a Tesla, and an EV in general. I've only had it a week and don't think I could ever go back to a non self-driving ICE. But if FSD didn't exist I would have just kept my PHEV.

I drive 99% of the time using FSD on my 2021 Tesla Model Y (with very minimal interactions). It’s totally worth having it paid in full.

One will have the intel chip and other AMD. I’d go for the late 2022

S_HANS_S 2026-03-07 18:46

I wouldn’t take either. I wouldn't go below 2023, better 2024, and personally I wouldn't buy with more than 30k km on the clock.

Financial_Prune_7383 2026-03-07 18:57

Whats the reason?

You really want to have hardware 4 at this point. I’d look for something with that. Depends on your price range too. But between these 2, get the FSD

You really need HW4 with the Ryzen chip if you want to be future proof IMO.
