Hi guys, I am looking at the Tesla model y for the size, mileage and safety (I was looking at polestar 2 but Tesla does beat it in each category I believe). Now I’m wondering, is premium worth it? Is it just a screen in the back and improved sounds? Is it worth me just getting standard long range and I won’t feel put out by it? Premium comes slightly high in my budget but the long range is fine.

Premium also gets improved suspension, double-pane glass, upgraded material for the interior and seats, external light bar (looks very cool, imo), bigger battery, slightly faster charging speeds, faster acceleration. And I could be wrong but I think the "Premium" model is just the new name for what used to be called the Long Range model. But I could be wrong.

Ah those are really good selling points! I’m not sure, on my list I have standard, standard long range, long range & premium (I think the last two are identical listings). I’m in the U.K. if it makes a difference :)

They might be different models in the UK. I'm not familiar with the model differences there. My examples were in the US.
