Door trim & side panel not lining up well on brand new model Y

This morning I picked up my brand new model y. I did a walk around at the dealership & didn’t notice it. Once I got home & really looked at it the black trim on the door & pillar do not line up well when the door gets closed. The passenger side looks fine. Just the driver side door. Anyone else have a similar issue? I know I have a grace period where I can take it back & show them but where will that get me?

You obviously don’t read the sub lmfao. This is discussed frequently. “Anyone else have a similar issue” Lmfao

Real Sherlock Holmes over here. Good detective work. Anyone have anything meaningful to add?

Make a service appointment in the app. Include pictures.

You think this is something they fix or have to replace?

No idea. Does it matter if it's right afterwards?

Ultimately no. Just sucks I might have to give it back to be fixed / replaced when I picked it up this morning😂.

That's Tesla. You are the QC department.

Uh-oh, TSLA never ceases to amaze me! Obviously, speaking of QC, a lot to desired!!!

I noticed the same thing but didn't notice it until a week or so after I took delivery when looking in my side mirror
