Why did Tesla put the hazard light such a inconvenience location?

My gf's foot always hits it during missionary.

Maybe I’m just a genius, but the few times I’ve wanted to turn the hazard lights on I’ve been able to remember where the button is. And then I press that button! Actually, it’s not maybe. I AM A GENIUS.

It feels inconvenient to me. Maybe it’s easy for you, but some people might find the location inconvenient.

It’s fine for me. It is possibly located there because regulations require it to be a “real” switch and Tesla wanted to integrate it into the wire and switch bank for the shifter.

I'd say at least 75% of the cars I've ever owned have been in a similar place.

Its there so you can tap it with your head in case you get stuck in the seatbelt

My biggest complaint with this button is I wish it was an actual button so you're sure you pressed it rather than just being flat, same for the PRND controls
