Do you own a RWD or AWD?

Just want to see what the percentages are. Curious because I’m picking up my diamond black RWD Saturday and have been thinking about switching to AWD [View Poll](https://www.reddit.com/poll/1rl9gox)

I got premium RWD, but now think I would do the AWD if I could. Especially after I heard that it makes the ride better due to the weight

Yeah I want an AWD for that also for the speed, and more speakers but who knows I’ll probably trade mine in a year or 2 from now to get an AWD

If you're already having second thoughts, changing your order now to a AWD would be much cheaper than trying to trade it in a year or two.

speakers are the same now. EDIT: I stand corrected. I am US so i thought they were the same everywhere.

Not in EU

CommunicationFun7587 2026-03-05 12:45

Are you sure? I watched a video on the juniper saying RWD has 9 and AWD has 12?

Bratci 2026-03-05 12:52

EU is 9 (no sub) vs. 15 + 1 (Sub) [https://prnt.sc/YYFzPG2yPm2o](https://prnt.sc/YYFzPG2yPm2o)

I live in a very snowy area and I live on a dirt road. I didn’t even consider RWD.

Can't ride RWD in the snow, nor do I want to deal with it. AWD is the only way for me.

This is going to gather a different set of responses depending on if it's a Juniper or not. Pre juniper if you wanted some of the premium features and longer range, you had to get AWD.

Typically the power from awd and rwd is similar in a gas car. In an EV you get a lot more power **and** better traction so for me it's a no brainer even if I feel like I could get away with rwd.

StormTrpr66 2026-03-05 14:49

AWD just for the added versatility of being able to drive in snow if needed, and for better traction in the rain. The extra acceleration is also nice to have.

If I still lived in Vegas where weather doesn’t exist, I would’ve just gone RWD. However, I now live in Reno where it rains and snows and roads are not properly maintained, so I spent the extra and went AWD.

AWD MYLR. I don't like RWD as someone that used to live in a pace that got very inclement weather

mozman68 2026-03-05 16:48

Where are the other options? I mean, I'll pick AWD since my MY Performance only comes in that... ;)

eatmorbacon 2026-03-05 16:49

Where is the Performance AWD option? LOL

keepitcleanforwork 2026-03-05 22:14

I'd pay for AWD before a premium color.
