App location is wrong when gf uses her profile

**2022 Y LR, latest software on both car and app (iOS).** When me or cousin drive, location in the app is always accurate. When my gf drives on her profile, it's wrong. She'll be commuting to work, school, whatever and in the app the location stays frozen at a random parking lot over 40 miles away. Doesn't update for hours. Not a huge deal just kind of annoying. It's the same location every time so it's likely a caching issue (4 years IT background). Since it's tied to a specific driver profile, I doubt the GPS module is bad. Should I schedule service even if it's a software thing or just wait for an update? I'd have to take time off work which I'd rather avoid.
