2021 Y - 63K miles - battery range SF Bay Area question

Our Y these days shows less than a 200 mile lange at 80% charge vs 300+ mile max range when the car was new. The battery health indicator is telling us all is well. Could this be a time of year/temperature issue mainly where we will gain range once it warms up? Right now we're in the mid 40's to low to mid 60's F (7-17C). Any and all feedback welcome.

Your car will show more miles in the summer, keep in mind that the miles represented are simply estimates from a calculation that runs everytime you drive the car. If you drive it in the winter, it would calculate you're getting less miles and this will reflect I to the equation. When it gets warm and the car notifies it gets more miles, it will slowly climb back up, just don't expect it to be immediate. It's afterall averaging within a time span. Not sure how big that time span is.

Run a battery health test or charge closer to 100% for the bms to recalibrate. This shouldn’t have too much to do with temps as I’m in sf too and the weather here is mild. It’s almost never in the 40s during the day.

The weather in the Bay Area doesn’t get cold enough to affect bms calculations too much.

Tesla's range estimate on the user screen is based on the amount of energy left in the battery and the EPA rating. It does not change with the weather.

I have never seen an increase after winter. An increase in real range, yes because the vehicle consumes less energy to drive. An increase in the estimated range. No, because that's always calculated based on the same values.
