Carpeted Covers on the Trunk Storage Cubbies Look Much more Uniform.

LeoWitt | 2026-03-04 18:26 | 25 views

Got these trunk storage protectors and bins for my 2026 Model Y Juniper. I know they are meant to be a protector and organizer of the inside area, but that aside, I just love the uniform carpeted look that flows from the main storage cover board I feel like Tesla should have carpeted covers extend to the sides like this from factory. Also nice to keep stuff less visible. These one's are made by EvBase. Anyone have these or a version of them?

FYI they also come in a hard top version with handles. But these are the carpeted ones I got: [https://www.evbase.com/banvaf](https://www.evbase.com/banvaf) Ignore the prices on their site by the way, they have a bunch of codes out there. You can google for them, not trying to promote them just an FYI

I got the hard top ones so I can add additional baskets on top. This way I get 2 levels of storage and maximize that space

We use our bins to store wine bottles in when stocking up at Costco. Wonderful added storage for little odds and ends.

They look good!

Had to get these because I was petrified my dogs would get their legs caught. Should be standard IMO.

Is there are reason why you chose a third party bin and not the OEM Tesla ones? Unless you had some coupon, the OEM ones are actually cheaper than the ones you linked, and based on videos I've seen, appear to have a better construction and better color match (I was comparing multiple brands of these tubs before choosing the OEM ones). There are cheaper ones on Amazon, but unlike the ones you linked and the OEM ones, they are generally not carpeted.

I bought these. I hated the holes on the sides. My stuff would fall in

Yes, I did use a coupon:  TwentyOFF.  https://www.evbase.com/banvaf Believe it works for anything on their site. And I noticed the OEM one's dont have pull tabs though?

I have no idea why Tesla doesn't include these as standard. I bought a rubber cargo mat for the entire rear section and bought the matching side cubbies with a rubber cover. With all the stuff I carry in the back, the carpet would get destroyed without a good cover.

I need to get these to prevent my groceries from falling into the bins.

lol is this a paid ad?

Yeah, there is no pull tab, but a finger cutout at the corners.  I originally didn’t like it but now I do since it allows me to route cables to the 12v socket through it.  Yeah, plastic ones are easier to clean but I wanted something flush (personal preference).
