Green calipers?

looks like a tuning accident if everything else is strictly kept black. sorry.

What else could be changed to match the caliper? How about black calipers?

That’s the second one I’ve seen in 24 hours online with green calipers. The other one has a line along the bottom of the car that was green too. Terrible choice. Although I think the red is terrible too. Red was cool in the 90’s when Brembo was the only one doing it and it was a symbol you had their brake system. Now it’s just done to somehow say “I got performance” even if it’s a V6 Mustang or a Geo Metro.

What makes green a bad colour? Just want to know your reasoning I wanted to avoid red because too common/boring. And yellow didn’t feel right for a Tesla. Green is not everyone’s cup of tea but was probably the safest option for wanting something different. Blue would have been good too

Stop doing caliper covers, they are stupid, traps heat and dirt, looks ugly and fools nobody. They have been frowned upon by the car community for 20+ years until somehow Tesla people made it a thing again.

Just personal preference. Sorry, I didn’t intend to sound like a dick (but it sure came across that way). I just really don’t like the look. Orange or blue would have been more in line with what I like. Again, my apologies.

It’s just an opinion man. Tesla nerds aren’t car people so anything other than stock is “tacky”, but will add RGB lighting to their PC. People have been customizing their rides for probably as long as they’ve been available. Do what you want to make it yours. Stock is boring and basic, imo.

I think it’s good that it’s more unique, because the car will be so common depending on where you are. Your less common coloured callipers will be easier to spot for family and friends when you go pick them up, or looking for it in a parking lot.

Maybe a thin strip of green tape on the side mirrors. It’s functional - for others to see it more to have less chance of scratching it when squeezing by.

I think it looks cool. I'm getting dark red covers for my black MY. I'm a car guy and have studied Motor Trend magazines since my teens. I still like to personalize a car, and it doesn't mean I'm trying to pass it as a performance. I just like the way the color looks. If high end sports cars have colored calipers when they don't need it for performance, then it's just aesthetics... just like colored caliper covers. Ignore the haters.
