Upgraded to Flow One Wheels. They saved about 7 lbs each wheel over original crossflow. Drives lighter and more nimble. Love this car

Looks like RWD? How is the acceleration? Feel like you are missing any speed?

happyguy121 2026-03-02 03:28

Congrats! Did you have to use wheel adapter? Looks like most of their wheels are 5x112 lugs vs 5x114.3 stock Tesla?

Away-Scar7754 2026-03-02 04:03

Good on you

Foreign-Most-4552 2026-03-02 04:09

More than enough. I am happy with RWD in SoCal.

Foreign-Most-4552 2026-03-02 04:13

No adapter. The wheel is 5x114.3 and they came with hub centric rings. I have another set of flow one f8 that I'm returning soon in case you are interested in taking it off my hands.

happyguy121 2026-03-02 04:18

interested, and I'm located in Philly.

Nice ride! Have fun!

I wanna order one, but am afraid I’m going to miss that “EV pull”. Had a 23 M3 RWD, it was fun, and not sure if the Y will feel sluggish. Just so hard to pass up the updated screen, premium sound and black headliner + range. It’s a helluva package

Foreign-Most-4552 2026-03-02 04:20

Darn that's really far. I'm in socal and shipping might make the price not worth it for you. We can communicate via direct message and see where it goes

dnguyen823 2026-03-02 04:21

Just bought a swapped wheels already?

Foreign-Most-4552 2026-03-02 04:23

Avoid the standard. I have the 2026 standard as well. That feels a little bit sluggish I suppose. It's still as fast as a 2025 Lexus ES350 V6 😂. Premium RWD is even faster. Just test drive the rwd and AWD premium to decide for yourself. I'm really happy with the RWD prem

Foreign-Most-4552 2026-03-02 04:24

Yes sir :) Now I have to try to sell the crossflow Wheels sitting in my garage hehe

dlogrttocs 2026-03-02 04:29

For sure! I tried to book a drive with a Premium RWD, but they didn’t have one and just gave me an AWD to take out. Definitely fun, but now I feel like I might be missing out. Anyways , congrats on the new wheels. The Grey looks great.

I also transitioned from 2019 AWD M3 to Model Y RWD premium recently. I was very apprehensive of loosing that instant torque feel, but realized that in more that 6 years I might have floored my M3 no more that 20 times. It got old very soon for me. I chose to go with more range and was happy to give up extra power that rarely in fact used. RWD is snapping enough and more than enough for me. I also transferred my FSD that I use majority of time which works the same regardless of MY being RWD or AWD. That said, do try a demo car.

Good feedback.

Is this with 4G or 5 G modem?

d33170 2026-03-02 06:38

It should come with 5G (AG555QGL modem). He can confirm through the service menu. I received my Juniper AWD last June and it already has the 5G hardware. Tesla just needs to enable the network.

The_Soldiet 2026-03-02 07:42

Mine didn't unfortunately. Berlin model. I don't believe Berlin or China has the 5g modem yet.

Welcome to the club! I put my 20 hre a week after I got mine as well 😀

Capital_Elderberry28 2026-03-02 21:59

I have the same vehicle and couldn’t be happier. I also came from a 23 M3 RWD IMO: gives up some acceleration performance but really gains in comfort from an improved ride and noise not to mention improved range (~250 > 340).

Foreign-Most-4552 2026-03-02 22:49

How much range do you lose going up 1 size?

Matter_Over_Mind_84 2026-03-02 22:50

It’s all about the tire fitment- my heights about as close % as you’ll get to stock 19s. Altho I’m running staggered setup- for fitment and looks. I wish we had both dual motors so we could truly compare…but I can share my wh/mile if you’d like

PugMaster007 2026-03-03 00:32

Congratulations 🍾

Careful with the trunk door if you’re using the garage regularly!
