Spotify license error?

I’m sure someone else had this problem but my Spotify stopped working. I Tried soft rest and logging out of Spotify and back in but still won’t work. I tired going to the radio app and back to Spotify but that didn’t work either. I’m wondering if I need to do the Tesla car update to get Spotify to work or if there is something else I’m missing?

Same thing happened to me recently, just had to update the Tesla software and it fixed it. It was saying “firmware update required…” on my Spotify.

Thanks for the response. Do you know what version you were on before the problem? I'm still on a 2025 version. Mine is saying license error.

It was the version just before the Tron and Tesla Photo Booth software update if that’s any help? I don’t know the exact version number. I had a software update waiting to install for a while and kept putting it off then the other day my Spotify would play a song for a few seconds then stop, spinning wheel and then the message “firmware upgrade required” would appear. Installing the new Tesla software version has completely fixed the Spotify issue.
