Dilemma - White with White Seats or Quicksilver with Black Seats?

lookingforrest | 2026-03-01 02:35 | 5 views

Having a hard time deciding. I thought I wanted White with white interior but the Quicksilver has me thinking. The two options cost the same. We already have another Tesla in Stealth Gray with black interior so I thought I wanted something different. But I'm also a little concerned that the white interior will be high maintenance. What would you pick?

If you have kids, black. If you don’t, white.

Quicksilver with white interior. 🙂

There is always dust in cars.

Quicksilver without a doubt.

White is bad if the seats are perforated.  I love the solid white in my 2024  Y.

This is what I’m waiting on. Hoping to get a VIN assigned soon!

Having owned both black and white interior, I recommend u go with black.

No one cares but you.

Both of those specs look good. Pick whichever exterior color you like better and go with that.

Can you explain why you feel black is better?

The white got kinda dingy, even tho we’re very careful. Blue jeans definitely caused a blue tint which was hard to remedy. With pre-conditioning, even in Texas, the black seats aren’t a problem

I am well qualified to comment. Drove a white on white model 3 for the last five years. Traded it in for a QS with black interior a month ago. Both are really excellent, my favorite two color combos (obviously). It just depends on the vibe you want. White on white feels very clean, bright and futuristic. Hard not to feel happy in that car. The QS (which I think does look better with black interior, but white looks great as well) is moody, sharp, and simply a boss, especially with the alcantara. If you are getting a highland, I'd lean towards QS/black because of the perforated seats on the highland being harder to deal with in white. The pre-highland white seats held up very well for me, albeit imperfectly. You can't go wrong. Go look at them in a Tesla lot and see what suits you. Honestly, you might want to meet in the middle and get white exterior on black interior. It's also super great.
