Tesla USB issue?

I'm experiencing a playback issue with my Dashcam clips. While the footage is accessible on a PC, the in-car viewer fails to display them(only sentry mode clips are accessible). Additionally, I'm unable to set a custom lock chime despite following the official steps. Since the PC reads the drive, is this likely a USB compatibility issue or a software bug?

If your PC can read/write it, this is usually formatting/indexing rather than a dead USB stick. Quick checklist that fixes this a lot: - Reformat in-car (Safety > Format USB) so folder structure is exactly what Tesla expects - Use exFAT and a known-good USB 3.1 drive (Samsung T7/High Endurance SD + reader tend to work) - Reboot the car UI after reformat - For custom lock sound: `LockChime.wav` in Boombox, 16-bit PCM WAV, reasonable file size If all that still fails, it’s likely a firmware bug in the current build.

>only sentry mode clips are accessible Maybe you just need to choose the right tab. They are grouped in the car's viewer.

I had to partition the drive into two partitions. One for music, the other for teslacam.
